Original Music

Sean Peter is a multi-award-winning Australian composer, lyricist, and music producer with over 30 years’ experience across theatre, film, and television. Like the infamous mechanical shark itself, his music is most powerful when it’s felt rather than seen.

Sean has written extensively for film and television, including family features and premium children’s content for DisneyNickelodeon, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. His work is grounded in story and character, whether supporting quiet, uncertain moments or helping land a big theatrical beat. The guiding principle is always the same: clarity, restraint, and emotional honesty — music that knows why it’s there and doesn’t overstay its welcome.

With The Shark Is Broken, Sean brings a light touch, a deep love of cinema, and just enough bite to remind us that great music—like great sharks—works best when you don’t quite see it coming.
